The foundation was created with the vision to raise awareness and address the growing need for expert intervention and comprehensive treatment for these conditions due to PCOS, fibroids, ovarian cysts, uterine anomalies, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, and more.

Under the leadership of Dr. Damodar Rao, Sr. Consultant Gynaec Endoscopy & Fertility, a highly skilled surgeon with advanced training in endometriosis surgery under Dr. Horace Roman in Bordeaux, France, FEM-I has already achieved a significant milestone successfully completing over 100 endometriosis surgeries. Dr. Rao heads the surgical unit at Rao Hospital, where advanced techniques like 3D laparoscopy and advanced hysteroscopy are used to provide precise and effective treatment for complex cases.
